The main sculpture is the work of the sculptor Valentín Dueñas y Zabala (1888-1952) and was installed in 1915. This artist has several important pieces in the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. In the middle of the stream you can see how the water flows down between its stones, from a grotesque-style fountain that stands above it. It is best known for the Rafael Echevarría waterfall.
At the end of the stream, look up and you will see a wonder of nature: the stone pine.
